Hi! I am one of the coaches here at CrossFit Posse. Not only do I specialize in the personal development of our many athletes, but I also promote having a good work ethic and positive attitude. I enjoy challenging, pushing and motivating our athletes past their limits to achieve their goals. I truly believe there is always room for growth, improvement and overall balance.
I started CrossFit in 2010 in my home town of Virginia Beach, VA when my friend told me about a “high intensity training class” she was taking. My interest was especially piqued when she told me that she was always sore after the class. Sounds fun, right? Well, I like a good challenge so I signed up not knowing that my first On Ramp workout was going to consist of rowing, deadlifts and burpees. It was a challenging class but I instantly fell in love and knew that CrossFit was for me. I haven’t looked back since.
In December 2013, I moved to Salt Lake City, UT, and after two months of searching for good programming, great coaching and an overall inviting and friendly gym atmosphere, I came across CrossFit Posse which has been my home gym ever since. After realizing how much love and passion I have for CrossFit and my desire to help others, I decided to get my L-1 certificate to start coaching. I have been coaching since 2015 and have since received my L-2 certificate as well as many other CrossFit specialty credentials.
